Those were employees of Steven J. Baum P.C. law firm, who held a Halloween party that was themed at mocking people who had lost their homes.
As it turns out, that total lack of empathy ended up costing everyone at the firm their jobs, as reported by the New York Times, after these pictures came to light, Freddie Mac and Frannie Mae forbid any of their mortgage services from using Steven J. Baum’s firm, effectively putting them out of business.
News has surfaced this morning that the firm filed papers with government agencies notifying them that they plan to close, which will leave the firm’s 89 employees jobless.
