But, but, George Zimmerman wasn’t white…
This gem has been going around a lot of conservative circles, as well as a few not-so-conservative circles.
First of all, Zimmerman is at least half white and the guy’s skin is lighter than mine, he could sure as hell pass as white.
Second of all, no matter what Zimmerman’s cultural/racial background is, it does not change his motivations for engaging and then murdering Trayvon Martin.
Third, it doesn’t change why the police reacted the way they did.
Forth, STOP IT. GOD DAMN people, stop making this all about not wanting to acknowledge that this was racially motivated.
It’s like some people are personally offended that this was about race. I really don’t understand this mentality.
