Anonymous asked: you reblogged an image i really liked recently, it was a quote from a nun who questioned what it really meant to be pro-life, when the welfare of the child that must be born is irrelevant. I find it hilarious(ie frustratingly sad) that people who are staunchly pro-life republicans are also the ones who want to cut funding for social safety nets. Because we must protect the sanctity of life.
That’s because it’s not about protecting the ~ sanctity of life~ it’s about punishing people for having dirty, dirty sex.
