Those posts on tumblr had thousands of notes & were reblogged by prominent blogs with thousands of followers/regular readers. Fox News is obviously making a huge deal about the Joe Biden being drunk thing which is obviously not true, but the cheating claims directed at Mitt Romney were not as ignored as you're claiming.
Still not the same thing, come back to me when there are segments on MSNBC with hosts saying that Romney was cheating without any rebuttal from the other side.
Not to mention the fact that the top post on the reddit link about this (and the posts are upvoted and downvoted by users) is a debunking of the claim he was cheating - it’s not the same thing at all, please stop pretending it is.
You are comparing blogs to a major media outlet, hell THE main media outlet.
