I try not to get into arguments about subjects were I don’t know what I’m talking about, and if someone does tell me I’m wrong, I will look it up. It’s all about critical thinking.
It’s not just about reading things that confirm “what you think” it’s about making sure you aren’t talking out of your ass, not confusing opinions with facts or giving baseless ideas the same weight of those grounded in evidence.
